Hey guys!
Today no tutorial, I've been quite busy with some other stuff, but I have sth awesome prepared for ye in the next couple of days.
Today I have news for ye: Sephora, the French beauty products chain, property of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy LVMH, will open two stores in Mexico in the second half of this year, the company’s America Division informed.
"Sephora is coming to Mexico through Grupo Axo, which distributes here several brands, including Benetton, Brooks Brothers, Brunello Cucinelli, Emporio Armani, Etro, Guess, Marc Jacobs, Rapsodia and Tommy Hilfiger.
LVMH in the first company in the world in high end articles; there are more than 750 Sephora stores in 21 countries, selling more than 250 brands of make-up, skin-care products, fragrances, toiletries, hair products and beauty accessories, including their own brand. "
That's the textual news that I read and, of course, I AM SO HAPPY!!!...Finally someone heard our prayers, girls! lol... because if it's well known that M.A.C. has been in Mexico for a while, we also demanded some Urban Decay, Kat Von D, NARS, products, and so on.
I am so happy and I wanted to share this with ye!.
Have fun,
Danaxx

PIN-UP Look! ^_^
Hey guys!
Is monday, well... for some ppl is already tuesday, but! Let's start the week with my favourite look! PIN-UP!
I love how classical, elegant and sexy thi look can be!! perfect for day and nicght and for those who have little eyes ;) I've seen tons of tutorials based on the classical pin-up look, and some others a bit different, so! Based on these, I made my own one ;)
Let's get started, so!
**Apply eye base all over your lid, and then with a classic shading brush, take a bit of your fave powder and apply it all over the base, this will smooth the look even more :) (I haven't done my foundation, yet ^^)
**Next, with a fluffy brush, take a bit of any peachy color and apply it all over your crease area and under your brow none, and blend well.
*Now, with a small shading brush, take any brown/bronze shadow and another yellow one and mix them a bit, next, apply that all over the main area of your lid, apply as much as you want and blend it with the peachy color. This is to lighten up the look and to add a bit of shimmery to the whole thing ;)
** Now to give more definition, with a pencil brush, take a dark brown shadow and apply it in the outer corner of your lid, draw the line and make sure it goes along the crease area just a tiny bit....Looks messy, isn't?
...That's why the key is BLENDING!, with a clean fluffy brush, blend, blend those colors out, we want definition, but not something too strong ;)...See the difference?
** Now with an angle brush, take a bit of that peachy shadow over your lower lash line, and with the same brush, take a bit of the dark brown shadow and just press the brush a bit over your lash line but only on the outer corner and with a flat and small brush, blend those colors together.
Next, line your waterline with any white liner, this will make your eyes look more awake and will lighten up the look. With a clean angle and smaller brush, take a gold shadow and apply it on the inner corner of your eyes and kinda draw a line that goes over your lash line (lower and upper) and with a pencil brush, smudge those lines as they go to the center of your lids.
**The funny part!...LINE YOUR EYES!, We want a strong wing and very well defined line, so take your favourite liner brush or with the same one your liquid eyeliner has, line your eyes and draw that wing as dramatic and strong as you want ;) (if you want some good and very useful advices and tricks as how to draw a cat eye, check out Siobhán's [LetzMakeup] tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA4u5T1SouU she's AWESOME)
** Now, apply your foundation and set it with your fave powder, also do your brows, and make sure they are a tiny bit stronger than usual, because for this look, the strong and very well defined brows are very important! (For an awesome and crazy useful brow tutorial, check this one by MissChievous http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLTAKxv07B8 )... Highlight the area u nder your arch with a lighter shadow and apply your fave mascara.
**Now the lips!... I love red lips, I reaaally do and love to wear my lips red as much as I can, lol!...ok, so apply a tiny bit of your eye base all over your lips, or, if you have, a lip primer would be fantastic!.. Now with a red lipliner, line your lips, we want some nice and contoured lips so, if you have thin lips, line over the outer natural line of your lips, this will help them look bigger but yet full, and, if you have thick lips, line the over the natural inner line, that will help you to make them look a bit more flat and nice ;)... Next fill your lips with that liner, and apply your favourite red lipstick!
*Contour your cheecks and apply a little of any bronze or gold highlight and... you are done!!! :D
Hope you liked this tutorial, and comment! ;)
Love,
Dana xx

Camera's back....GREEN WAVE TUTORIAL
Hey guys!
Aff... well after aaaaaall, I finally found my camera's charger and me is happy again...lol!
So! As I took pics of this look before the batteries died on wednesday, I feel relieved, and also took pics of the products I used, plus! The NYX adquisitions :D .
Also changed the boring top of my blog and made a banner...is now the greatest thing, buuut! I'll make it better... within the next couple of days ^^
Let the magic begings!
GREEN WAVE TUTORIAL
Ok, I wanted to try more colors, and I sound out that almost never use the green gama, so I told myself... 'why not?' and I wanted some kind of smokey eye but with a little change, so I decided to go for something funny and very dramatic, with the inner and outer corners very dark and deep.
So, ok, here we go!
** Prime your eyes, with any primer or eyeshadow base, even concealer will work perfectly ;) As the look will be full of colors and it will be very dramatic, we want every color we use is intense.
** Next take a flat brush and apply any light green eyeshadow all over your lid, it will be the base of all the green gama we will apply later; blend it a tiny bit into your crease and also apply a bit of that on your lower lashline.
** Next with any shading brush, pat a little darker yet a bit more 'grassy' shade of green, from the center of your lid to your outer corner, then blend, blend, blend... try to focus and intensify the color in your outer corner and in the center, blend the two shades of green together.
** Now with an even darker shade of green and a pencil brush, draw a line that goes from the outer corner of your lid and goes into your crease area, try to make the line thin as you go to the center of your crease, as if the line was 'vanishing' and blend those colors, focus in darken up the outer corner of your lid, and blend blend with a fluffly brush in the crease area.
** Now, with a crease brush or the same pencil brush or any other brush small enough for your crease and outer corner area, take a bit of any black eyeshadow and apply it over that dark green base and in a circle motion go up to your crease and fade it as you go to the central area, what we want is a line that almost fades away but that will be visible enough for that's what will help us later; blend the colors as much as you wish just always keeping in mind that we want this gradiant effect, with those greens and the black .
** Now is time to go to the inner part of your lid, take any pencil eye-liner and apply just a bit of that over your inner corner of the lid and go into to your lid and over the crease, then with the pencil brush, smudge that very well and draw a line that kinda connects with the one we drew earlier. Do this until you have are happy with the effect. And after this, just to smooth this, take a bit of the black eyeshadow with the tip of the pencil brush and just tap it all over the inner crner and, again, make the line kinda like litting it fading away.
** Once you have this nice effect like the two lines from the outer and inner corner of your lid kinda connect; with an angle brush take a bit of that grassy green and apply it from the center of your lower lash line and to the outer corner, next, take a bit of that darker green and apply it in the outer corner, next blend the colors together.
** Now with the same pencil eye-liner, line your waterline.
** Take your liquid liner and line your eyes drawing with a little wing ^^. Do your brows
** With any flat brush take a bit of any eyeshadow similar and a bit lighter than your skin and highlight the area under your brows, to get rid of any harsh edges and to blen the colors better in that area. And apply your fave mascara.
** Now, the lips; I went for sth like a berry color, kinda hot pink but going to the purple side, I used the Beauty Treats lipstick in 'Baby Berry' and to give it a nice shinny touch, I used the Jafra's Ultrashine Gloss in 'Praline' which is a brwn-red-ish gloss, really lovely.
** Contour and pply any soft pink blush.
And it's done!!! :D
Hope you liked this tutorial, and follow! ;)

NYX Shopping!
Hey guys!
Today I have good and bad news... well not bad, is more like an unfortunate fact; First let's talk about the good news.
I made my investigation duty last night and followed the steps of NYX in Mexico, and guess what?...I did find the ONLY place where we can find NYX Products! so, I went today to see what's over there and O.M.C.!!! I found the whole line of products over there, I was so happy I could find them ^^
So, as any good makeup geek, I got a bit of stuff I saw there (for bad luck I didn't have too much money with me, but I plan to go back for more stuff ;D)
I got a Triple Eyeshadow palette with gorgeous purples and a some kind of pink-ish/ purple-ish one is amazing, I just fell in love with it! the colors are: Pruple/Deep Purple/Prune. Then I also got a single eyeshadow in Black because My own one is about to die (yep, I am a metal girl, what can I do? my life goes around the black...sometimes, lol!) and finally I got a pot of Eyeshadow Base, I've never tried this one, ony the Urban Decay's Primer Potion and M.A.C.'s Paint Pot and we'll se how this one works, I am so excited to try it!
And soon there will be a Tutorial with these new products I got ;)
You maight wonder... where are the pictures?... and that's the not-so-happy fact: I can't find the charger of my camera D: yeaaahh I am so silly and can't remember where it is! I was planning to post the tutorial of today's look I did which is a green eyes and cherry lips look. I could take some pics but since the camera only works when the batteries are full, I can't post or take any pictures. But don't worry I will search for the damn charger which I am sure is around here and post both things: The Tutorial of this Green eyes and Cherry look, AND the pictures of my latest NYX adquisitions ^^
Best Wishes and... Enjoy EL Dia De Reyes!!!.... Ya mandaron su carta, niñas? xD
Have fun!

Welcome!
Welcome everybody!
This is my first blog about makeup EVER! I am pretty excited! ^_^
I am not a makeup artist or sth, I am just a huge HUGE fan of makeup from Mexico, who wants to give sth to you, guys! Specially since not everyone can afford very expensive cosmetics and not everyone can or have the same practice on makeup, I don't have too much either, but I will do my best to make you have fun! :D
So have fun and I really hope you like this! :D
So, let's get started!
I am a HUGE lover of purple color and I wanted to start with sth easy yet cute ^^
What I did was go straight to the eyes and prime them with a bit of concealer (I used Prestige Correctives in "Vanilla" is a cream concealer, but any other should do the job as well ) It also helps to eyeshadows to stick and last a bit longer, is not that great as the primer potions like Urban Decay's or M.A.C.'s Paint Pot or any other eye primers, BUT! is a good option for those who don't have any of these ^^
So, after applying a bit of concealer all over the lid, here are the steps:
** Now, with an angle brush take a bit of any brown or bronze shadow (in this case I used the Urban Decay's in "YDK" which is also in the same palette that's in the picture above) and pat it on the lower lash line all over it, then with the same brush, take a bit of the darker purple shadow and pat it on the outer corner of your lower lashline, take the pencil brush and blend the colors together. Now with a flat brush, take a bit of any lighter shadow (not too light jus a bit more than your skin tone) and pat it under the arch of your eyebrow, this is to highlight the area and make the purples look more intense and will blend the colors even better so you won't have any harsh edges.
**Time to line your eyes!...with a black pencil eye-liner (I used the M.A.C. liner in "GraphitBlack") , line your water line and over the lower lash line, don't worry if it looks messy, now with your pencil brush smudge the liner and blend it into the colors you have in that area, this will make the difference, and make your eyes look bigger. Now with any black liquid or gel liner (I used the L'Oréal liquid liner in "Noir") line your eyes and make a little wing, we want a cat eye but not too strong, just to make the eyes look even bigger ;)
**Do your foundation and set it with any powder (I used the L'Oréal's True Match liquid Foundation in "Golden Sand" and the Maybelline's Color Stay 24 Powder in "Nude"), then do your brows with any eyeshadow that fits your natural brow color using any angle brush (I used the brown color that's in Jafra's Duo/Trio Palette, the Duo is in 'Portofino" and the lighter shadow is the one I used as Highlight under the arch of the eyebrows)
**Curl your lashes and apply your fave mascara (I used the Maybelline's Colossal Volume Express in Black)
-- This is optional: I used a bit of blush, but I don't use it very much, because my cheeks are naturally... like red-ish or peach-ish; so what I always do is only contour with any light brown color and highlight with a bit of gold/bronze pearls. It works for me because my skin is tanned naturally and gives this nice color to my skin. If you are pale, any peach blush should work for you.
**For the lips, I went for something dark, I like to try with different combinations, and usually I'd wear any peach or nude pink lipstick, but this time I tried something different and used this dark brown/purple-ish lip gloss by M.A.C. in "Wrong Spell' this is limited edition by the Venomous Villains line, and has this sparkly touch in red/purple very lovely and I just love it!...if you feel this is too dark for you, use any nude pink or peach color and gloss.
And you're done! :D
Hope you liked this! I know is a bit tiring to follow the instructions reading, but I promise I will make this better, I will move in a couple of weeks to a new house and I will have plenty of space and light to record the tutorials (this included) and post them in YouTube and here as well!
Comment and tell me what you think!
These are the pictures of the look!
Best Wishes and have fun!

I will also make reviews about products and tools. Also, there will be a YouTube channel soon, with the tutorials and reviews ^^. All tutorials and reviews will be posted here. Tutorials will include pictures of the current look, the products used and extra information, same with the reviews ^^.
So have fun and I really hope you like this! :D
So, let's get started!
PURPLE SMOKEY EYES
I am a HUGE lover of purple color and I wanted to start with sth easy yet cute ^^
** With any eyeshadow brush, take a bit of the pigment all over the lid and blend it up to your brow bone. Pat it more on the lid so the color will be a bit more intense, as the pigment is a bit iridiscent you will get a nice purple-ish shade with a pearl touch ;)
**Once you have the pigment all over your lid, with a smaller brush, it can be a pencil brush like the M.A.C.'s 219 which is the one i used, or any other brush that fits the outer corner of your lid, take a bit of a purple shadow (I used The Urban Decay's in "Flash"), any one that is more intense than the one you have already and pat it into the outer corner of your lid, if you do this with little circle movements you will get a better result. Then slowly blend it into the crease area and below your brow bone, make sure the color is more intense in the outer corner of your lid.
**Next, with the same brush, use the other side of this and with an even darker shade of purple (in this case I used a mineralized duo by M.A.C in "Odd Couple".; down in the picture) take a bit of that and focus on the crease area, draw a line and then, with a little fluffy brush blend it into the other colors, next with the same fluffy brush, take a bit of any black eyeshadow (I used the Urban Decay's in "Oil Stick"; up in the picture) and pat it on the line you draw with the dark purple, and blend them; this will define your eyes and make the look deeper.
